We have a cdq prima lite and wish to be able to send data over the ancillary data port to an RE codec. At this stage we cannot see data in either direction. Has anyone tried this? Does it work and what tips might we be missing?

Hello,

While MPEG standardized ancillary data stream formats, they never stndardized how the ancillary data would be used.

The consequence is that there is no compatibility between differnt brands of codecs for serial or contact closure ancillary data.
