Hello to anyone that can help...

Our video post facility is currently looking into ISDN for audio (VO's etc.). We currently have an ISDN line that has been used for webstreaming of live events.  We would like to dedicate this line to audio only.  Is this possible as is or do we need to make some changes?  
Also, our audio suite (which is where the ISDN line would be relocated) is a ProTools HD system on XP Pro PC.  We have a Yamaha DM1000 on the front end of the system.  Would the Audio TX Communicator software be right for this set up?  We want to have high quality and maximum compatibility with other studios.  We are also interested in the APT WorldNet Tokyo.  Thanks for any info you can provide.

ISDN audio codecs don't need a special ISDN line - just a bog-standard ISDN line is enough. Of course you will need to have the "data service" enabled with your provider (but since you've been using the line for web streaming I presume that you already have this). Depending on your provider you may also need to have long-distance calling and long-distance-data service enabled - unless all your calls will be local of course!

AudioTX Communicator will indeed be right for this setup.  It is compatible with the equipment from all major ISDN codec manufacturers like Musicam USA and Telos. The sound quality mainly depends on the sound card that you will be using with the software. With a professional sound card you will be able to do high-quality audio sessions.
