I use a CCS CDQ-110 at the receive end of my STL.
Transmit end is an AEQ Eagle.
Normally an excellent setup, however, on the rare occasion where the ISDN lines are dropped (by telco eqt. failure, or by power outage at the AEQ end), then the CDQ-110 will not answer the phone.

When this occurs, telco says they can loop-back the CDQ-110, but it does not respond with the SPID's that are programmed into it.

The only fix is to:

1. go to the site
2. unplugging the ISDN line
3. power down the CDQ-110
4. re-attaching the ISDN line
5. re powering the CDQ-110

The unit is plugged into a UPS to prevent surges/power line glitches.

Is this a setting that I have configured incorrectly?
Any suggestions for a cure would be greatly appreciated, since the site is 350 miles away and unattended.

email me for phone / spid #'s to test if you wish, since this is the current situation with the unit.

Thanks
